Indoor Wayfinding

When an event publishes wayfinding, you can get turn-by-turn directions inside the venue — from the entrance to your next session room, from a booth to the nearest coffee point, or between floors — instead of hunting for signage or asking staff.

Where to Find It

Public event page or mobile app > Floor plan / Wayfinding

Open the event's wayfinding page from the public event site, the embedded wayfinding view in the mobile app, or a venue kiosk screen.

The wayfinding display appears after event staff configure and publish venue wayfinding data.

Getting Directions

1. Pick a destination — search for a room, booth, exhibitor, or point of interest, or tap a mapped item on the floor plan.
2. Choose a starting point if one isn't already set. Kiosk screens and QR entry points set it for you — scanning a QR code near a lift or foyer opens the wayfinding page with that spot as your starting point.
3. Review the route — ema shows the total distance, the estimated walking time, and step-by-step segments, including when to take the elevator, stairs, escalator, or a ramp between floors.
4. Switch floors on multi-level venues to see each part of the route on the right floor plan.

Need step-free routing?

Toggle Accessible route before directions are calculated. The route then avoids stairs and other step-bound connectors, favouring elevators and ramps.

Continuing on Your Phone

Kiosk screens can show a QR code once a route is calculated — scan it to keep following the same directions on your phone as you walk.

Something Wrong with a Route?

Use Report a Problem on the route panel to tell the event team about a blocked path, wrong directions, a missing location, or anything else. Reporting helps them fix the venue map for everyone.
