App Navigation
The hey ema mobile app is designed around fast access to the things attendees need most during an event: agenda, meetings, networking, engagement, wayfinding, and their own event identity.
Where to Find It
hey ema mobile app > Bottom navigation
Open the mobile app and choose your event. The bottom navigation bar has five tabs: Home, Agenda, ema, Live, and Scan.
Core Navigation Areas
The bottom tabs are:
- Home — the event hub: news feed and quick links to networking, exhibitors, speakers, posters, your event pass, and messages. The Posters quick-access tile only appears when the event has published posters.
- Agenda — the full event schedule and session details
- ema — opens the ema AI chat assistant as an overlay rather than a separate screen
- Live — sessions happening right now
- Scan — the camera scanner used for check-in, connecting with other attendees, and exhibitor lead capture
Account settings are reached by tapping your profile picture from the Home tab, not from the bottom navigation.
Design Intent
Navigation is meant to reduce friction during live event use. That means:
- short paths to the next relevant action
- persistent access to personal event tools
- event-aware surfaces instead of generic app menus
When Supporting Users
If attendees say they cannot find something, confirm first whether:
- the feature is enabled for their project
- their role or registration type permits access
- the content is not yet published
