Offline & Sync
The mobile app is built for real event conditions, which means it should remain useful when venue connectivity is weak or inconsistent.
What can users rely on offline?
Treat recently opened agenda, pass, saved content, and viewed posters as the safest offline surfaces — poster media renders from cache once you have viewed it. Treat live messaging, check-in, registration changes, networking bookings, and newly updated content as connectivity-dependent.
What Offline Support Is For
- agenda access in low-signal areas
- continued attendee movement through the venue
- reduced disruption during temporary connectivity loss
What Users Should Understand
- recently viewed or synced content is usually the safest offline content
- some live or transactional features still depend on connectivity
- changes made while offline may not appear elsewhere until sync completes
Event-Team Guidance
- tell staff and attendees which features are safe to rely on offline
- test venue connectivity before large public rollout
- align onsite and mobile expectations for wayfinding, signage, and live updates
