The hey ema mobile app puts your entire event experience in your pocket. Browse the schedule, connect with attendees, check in to sessions, and stay up to date — all from your phone.

Download the app, choose your event, and sign in with the same email you used for registration.

Getting Started
Download hey ema from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Open the app and enter your event code to find your event. You can also sign in directly with your account.
Sign-in options:
- Email and password
- Magic link
- Email one-time code
- Microsoft sign-in
If you attend more than one event, switch between them from the event selector on the home screen.
An attendee downloads the app the week before the event, signs in with their registration email, saves three sessions to My Agenda, checks their event pass, and confirms meeting requests before arriving onsite.
Your Schedule
Browse the full event agenda organized by day. Tap any session to see details including speakers, room, and description.
Add sessions to My Agenda to build a personal schedule tailored to you. Sync your agenda to your device calendar so you never miss a session.
The Live Now tab shows what is happening right now, so you can jump into a session on the fly.
Speakers & Sessions
Browse all speakers with photos and bios. Tap a speaker to see their scheduled sessions.
During sessions, participate in live Q&A to ask questions and vote in real-time polls shared by presenters.
Networking
Browse the attendee directory to see who else is at the event.
Send connection requests to other attendees and book meetings directly through the app. hey ema also suggests connections based on your interests and profile.
Manage your networking profile to control what other attendees see about you.
Chat & Messaging
Send one-on-one or group messages to other attendees. Conversations update in real time with typing indicators.
Your message history is available offline, so you can review past conversations even without an internet connection.
Exhibitors & Sponsors
Browse exhibitors and sponsors with sponsorship tier badges so you can quickly identify key partners.
View booth details and find exhibitors on the floor plan. Book demo or meeting slots with exhibitor representatives directly from their profile.
If you are exhibitor staff, use QR code scanning to capture leads at your booth.
Event Pass
Open My Pass in the app to display your event pass and QR code for check-in scanning. The pass includes your name, registration type, event dates, and venue details.
If your event team has turned on wallet passes for this event, My Pass also lets you add your pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet directly from the app. See Notifications & Event Pass for details.
Check-In
Check in to the event and individual sessions using your phone. Scan a QR code at the door or enter a check-in code manually.
View your attendance history to see which sessions you have attended.
Gamification
Earn points for attending sessions, networking, and engaging with the event. Track your progress on the leaderboard and see how you rank against other attendees.
Collect badges for completing challenges set by the event organizer.
AI Assistant
Open the ema tab to chat with the ema AI assistant about your schedule, sessions, and event data. If it cannot answer, it can create a support ticket with the event organizer's team for you — the confirmation card's View my requests opens My Requests as an in-app web view (the app has no native requests screen). Push Notifications
Get notified about schedule changes, new messages, and event updates. Customize which notifications you receive in your settings.
Session reminders ensure you are always on time.
Offline Support
Browse your agenda and saved content without an internet connection. Messages and data sync automatically when you reconnect.

Languages
hey ema is available in six languages:

The app automatically detects your device language. You can also switch language manually in settings.
