v0.1.0 — Modules, Reports & Mobile

Released: April 2026  |  Version: v0.1.0

What Changed For Your Team

This release made ema much more usable as a day-to-day operating platform. Instead of every project carrying the same broad surface area from day one, teams could now shape each project around the modules they actually needed while also getting a much stronger reporting layer and a mobile experience for attendees.

For operators, the big outcome was focus and visibility at the same time. Projects could stay lean through module-based setup, but leadership and delivery teams gained deeper reporting, dashboarding, and engagement data across the event lifecycle.

Highlights

Module System

Projects now start lean. Teams can choose which features to enable at setup time, add more as operational needs grow, and avoid overwhelming new admins with product surfaces they are not using yet.

Reports and Dashboards

Reporting is now a first-class product area rather than a thin export surface. Teams can monitor operational performance, share dashboards, and schedule recurring insights without leaving ema.

hey ema Mobile App

The hey ema mobile app is now part of the platform story, giving attendees a companion experience for agenda management, networking, engagement, wallet passes, and notifications.

Detailed Changes

Project Setup and Platform Configuration

The onboarding and project configuration flow became more deliberate in this release, with setup guidance for both tenant admins and project teams.

  • Projects now have a module system that controls which features are visible.
  • Every project starts with a Core module and can expand as the event scope grows.
  • A new project setup wizard guides template selection and module configuration.
  • First-time tenant admins get a guided onboarding flow for branding, invitations, and first-project creation.

Reporting, Dashboards, and Commercial Visibility

The reporting stack is broad enough in this release to support both operational review and executive reporting.

  • 50+ default report templates span registration, financial, programme, exhibition, engagement, operations, and executive summary categories.
  • 7 pre-built dashboards combine multiple reports into focused views.
  • The custom report builder supports measures, dimensions, filters, and visualization choices.
  • Reports can be exported, shared internally or publicly, and scheduled for recurring delivery.
  • The AI assistant can summarize reports or help create them from natural language.

Mobile and Delivery Oversight

This release improves both the attendee-facing mobile experience and the internal admin view of project health.

  • The mobile app supports schedules, personal agenda building, networking, chat, live engagement, wallet passes, check-in, lead capture, and push notifications.
  • Offline support is available for agenda and messages, with six launch languages supported.
  • The admin dashboard now surfaces KPI cards, project health signals, activity feeds, and upcoming deadlines.
  • Project detail pages are reorganized into focused tabs for overview, tasks, people, financials, exhibition, schedule, registration, and engagement.

What You Need to Do

note

This release introduces several new operating surfaces. Teams should check project configuration, dashboard expectations, and mobile rollout readiness before announcing new capabilities broadly.

  • Review project module defaults before enabling them on live projects so each event only exposes the surfaces it actually needs.
  • Confirm dashboard and report expectations with internal stakeholders before relying on scheduled distribution.
  • If you are rolling out the mobile app, plan the attendee-facing launch communications, wallet-pass configuration, and notification strategy in advance.

Additional Improvements and Fixes

  • EventsAir integrations now sync automatically every 6 hours with incremental updates, including actuals data.
  • Productive financial sync now includes invoices, bills, expenses, line items, and purchase orders.
  • Gamification configuration is created automatically when first accessed.
  • Session stability improved so transient network errors no longer trigger unnecessary logouts.
  • The platform is now accessible at heyema.com with redirects from legacy domains.
  • Fixed spurious logouts caused by transient session check failures.
  • Fixed tenant setup wizard error handling and color picker accessibility issues.
  • Fixed project module caching consistency after enable and disable operations.
  • Fixed duplicate dashboard report keys and small-screen mobile chart tab wrapping.
