Updating Your Profile from an Email Link

Your event team can email you a link to update your speaker profile without signing in. An abstract invitation opens a different form for the specific talk you have been invited to present.

Where to Find It

Your event invitation or speaker reminder email

Open the profile or abstract link in the email. Keep it private: it gives access to the named speaker profile or invitation.

Update Your Biography and Photo

On Update your speaker profile, edit Short biography or Biography, then choose Save changes. Country is optional; choose a listed country, use Other for free text, or clear it.

To change your photo, choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP image up to 5 MB. Review the preview and choose Save this photo. Wait for the upload to finish before leaving the page. You can also remove the existing photo.

The profile form changes your details for this event. If your name, email address or talk assignment is wrong, contact the organizer.

Submit an Invited Abstract

On Submit your invited abstract, check the session, scheduled time, room and format. The page shows the organizer's submission deadline and the separate expiry of your link. Submit before either limit prevents access.

Enter the talk title and abstract, following the word limits shown. Choose topics if the organizer requests them, then choose Submit abstract. Wait for Your abstract has been submitted before closing the page.

The invitation updates the talk already reserved for you. It does not create a second talk or move its slot.

An invalid or expired link cannot save changes. Ask the event team to send a current profile or invitation link. If you have lost a talk-upload link, use the event's speaker-link recovery page with the email address they have recorded for you; see My Talks.

Connected Feature

Uploading presentation files uses your talk's upload link. A profile link edits your biography and photo instead.
