Where they work
In the hotel portal, for the hotel that employs them. They sit on the hotel side of the room block — the Accommodation coordinator is the other end of the same relationship, and works for the event.
They arrive by invitation from the event's accommodation coordinator, and they see their own hotel's part of the block and nothing else.
What they are responsible for
Being able to honour what was agreed: confirming availability, applying the rates that were negotiated, and receiving the rooming list early enough and accurately enough to act on it.
What they can do
- Accept an invitation to a project's room block.
- Confirm the inventory and rates they are holding for the event.
- See the rooming list for their hotel, and the arrivals and departures on it.
- Track how much of their allocation has been taken up.
What they cannot do
- See another hotel's allocation, rates, or guests.
- See the event's programme, registrations, or finances.
Journeys they take part in
These are the end-to-end chains of work that name them — the steps they own, and the ones that only affect them.
